Arrest of a Notorious Drug Trafficker in Jebel Jelloud
National security agents and officers from the Jebel Jelloud security zone arrested a dangerous individual, subject to 33 arrest warrants, who specialized in drug trafficking in the region's school environment. During the operation, law enforcement seized 200 drug tablets, a bladed weapon, and an additional quantity of narcotics. The accused carried out his criminal activities in exchange for various sums of money. After consulting with the Prosecutor's Office of the Tunis 2 Court of First Instance, the individual was placed in detention, and a report was drawn up for his presentation before the justice system to answer for his actions. This intervention is part of the ongoing actions of the security forces to combat drug trafficking, particularly in schools, in order to protect young people and prevent the spread of crime in the region.
