Adoption of a Proposal to Regularize Non-Fiscal Debt

The Assembly of People's Representatives (ARP) adopted, on Wednesday, in plenary session, a proposed additional article No. 117, as part of the 2026 finance bill, related to the regularization of the situation of individuals concerned by classified non-fiscal debts, with 73 votes in favor, 6 against, and 6 abstentions.

Key Provisions of the Article

  • The cancellation of pursuit fees and late penalties
  • The recovery of the principal debt amount according to a fixed schedule
