This edition featured theatrical performances from Tunisia, Algeria, Libya, and Iraq, under the theme "Sétif, a hub of art and artists."
Al Mouhajirane: A Tunisian Production
Al Mouhajirane is the only Tunisian work represented at the event, produced by the company Les Deux Rives, with the support of the National Fund for the Promotion of Literary Creation. The play is based on the text by Polish writer Slawomir Mrozek and adapted by Tunisian playwright Lassaâd Ben Hassine. The production brings together renowned artists Slah Msadeq and Jalel Eddine Saâdi.
Significant Tunisian Presence
In addition to the play's participation in the official competition, the Tunisian presence was notable at this edition. Tunisian director Hafedh Khelifa led a training workshop titled "The Commedia dell'Arte Italian Interpretation Workshop," and Tunisian actress Wahida Dridi was also a member of the festival jury. The Arab Theater Days of Sétif are organized annually by the "Art of Cultural Creativity" Association.
