Tunis Stock Exchange (BVMT) Tops Arab Stock Exchanges in Terms of Market Capitalization Growth
The Tunis Stock Exchange (BVMT) has risen to the top of Arab stock exchanges in terms of market capitalization growth. Its index progressed by 14.45% at the end of October, followed by the stock exchanges of Oman (+8.15%) and Egypt (+7.11%).
According to the Arab Monetary Fund's (AMF) monthly report for October 2025, the Tunisian exchange also recorded a significant improvement in its performance index and transaction value, which jumped by 77.32%.
Sustained Trading Dynamics
The volume of transactions on the Tunis Stock Exchange increased by 57.63%. These results are part of a positive regional trend: the AMF's composite index for all Arab markets closed the month of October 2025 with a 1.20% increase, driven by the improvement of most of the exchanges monitored.
Financial data reveals that Arab markets ended the month of October on a positive note for the second consecutive month, thus aligning with the dynamics of developed and emerging markets. This performance is attributed to the excellent quarterly results of listed companies, particularly in the banking sector, which posted increased profits and improved profit margins.
