ASBU Postpones 26th Edition of the Arab Radio and Television Festival
The Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) has decided to postpone the 26th edition of the Arab Radio and Television Festival, which will now take place from September 21 to 24, 2026, instead of its initial schedule in June.
This decision is motivated by the current situation in the Arab region, particularly in the Middle East and the Gulf, as well as the ongoing and future repercussions of these events. This context has led the organizers of several other major events scheduled for this summer in the Arab world to take similar measures.
The rescheduling of the 26th edition to September is expected to allow for increased participation from ASBU member organizations, as well as a broader presence of guests and participants, both Arab and international.
Despite the change in schedule, the ASBU General Directorate continues to actively prepare for the event through its specialized commissions. The goal remains to ensure all conditions for success at this event to reinforce its prestige and international reputation.
