Participation of Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit

On the occasion of his participation in the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit held on September 15, 2025, in Doha, Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, held talks with several of his counterparts from Arab, African, and Asian countries participating in the Summit.

Bilateral Meetings

In this context, the Minister met with:

  • Mr. Ahmed Attaf, Minister of State, Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs
  • Mr. Taher Al-Baour, Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Libya
  • Mr. Cheikh Niang, Minister of African Integration, Foreign Affairs, and Senegalese Abroad

Discussion Topics

These meetings focused on the main areas of bilateral cooperation, as well as ways to strengthen and develop them. They also allowed for an exchange on the results of the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit, particularly:

  • Solidarity with the State of Qatar in the face of barbaric Zionist aggression
  • Support for the Palestinian people in defending their historical rights

Tripartite Tunisian-Algerian-Libyan Meeting

During the tripartite meeting, the parties reviewed the latest developments on the Libyan scene and reaffirmed the importance of reaching a comprehensive political settlement within the framework of a Libyan-Libyan dialogue, in order to preserve the unity, sovereignty, security, and stability of Libya.
