Job Description
The successful candidate will report to the Platform OIM and will be responsible for providing first aid and medical support to platform personnel. Secondary duties will include logistics support, helicopter and vessel operations, and platform administrative tasks.
Key Accountabilities
- Medic: Provide occupational health services, diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries, and plan training and exercises in first aid and hygiene.
- Logistics: Manage the safe and efficient operation of helicopters and vessels, plan and optimize personnel and material movements, and participate in budget preparation.
- Administration: Supervise catering services, control platform materials, and manage solid waste.
Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental Requirements
The candidate must adhere to the company's HSSE requirements, including:
- Obtaining HSSE information from line managers
- Complying with APO HSSE rules and procedures
- Contributing to minimizing environmental impact
- Complying with APO security procedures
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum Bac + 3 years university education in health sciences or a higher technician diploma/bachelor's degree in health with a specialization in nursing or anesthesia
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in a medic position
- Extensive knowledge of advanced first aid and trauma life support
- Good written and oral communication skills in English, French, and Arabic
- Committed to developing competencies in administrative and logistics functions
Desirable Qualifications
- Helicopter landing officer certification
- Experience with SAP, GWMS, and Vantage data
- Certified Rig Medic, eACLS, PHTLS
Work Pattern
The successful candidate will work an offshore shift pattern of 15 days on and 15 days off.
