Offshore Production Technician

Job Description:
Amilcar Petroleum Operations (APO), the operator of the Hasdrubal and Miskar Gas concessions, is seeking a highly skilled Offshore Production Technician to join their team at the Miskar Platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and optimal operation of APO facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate, control, and monitor equipment, machinery, and plant processes on the platform.
- Perform emergency duties as assigned in the company's emergency procedures, including coxswain, HLO, and HDA roles.
- Perform first-line maintenance activities and conduct safety equipment inspections and tests to meet platform integrity requirements.
- Monitor plant conditions and report defects to support asset integrity and safe operations.
- Ensure all operations activities within the plant area are carried out safely and in accordance with company standards and procedures.
Supporting Safe Operations:
- Implement and improve safe operations procedures.
Requirements:
- Education:
- Baccalaureate completed with a minimum of two years of university studies in a technical field (Senior Technician Diploma, ISET, or equivalent).
- OR Baccalaureate completed or Professional recognized diploma in Building and Public Works (BTP) with a minimum of 10 years of experience in gas plants, refineries, or chemical or power plant operations.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in gas plants, refineries, or chemical or power plant operations.
- Distributed control system (DCS) experience is preferred.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, rotary machines, physical laws, and chemical laws.
- Good computer skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, French, and Arabic languages.
- Collaboration and team working skills.
- High ethical standards with integrity.
Work Pattern:
- Offshore shift pattern rotation (15/15)
