CS Constantine Announces End of Collaboration with Technical Staff
CS Constantine, a top-tier Algerian football club, officially announced on Thursday, April 30, 2026, the end of its collaboration with the entire technical staff of the first team, led by Tunisian coach Lassaad Dridi.
In a video released on the club's official page, the interim general manager, Tarek Arama, clarified that this separation follows the team's elimination in the semi-finals of the Algerian Cup. On April 24, the Constantine-based club suffered a 2-3 defeat at home against CR Belouizdad.
The management had entered into negotiations with the Tunisian coach as early as last Sunday to reach a contract termination agreement. These discussions ultimately led to an amicable agreement on Wednesday. Tarek Arama emphasized that reaching the Algerian Cup final was one of the major objectives set when Lassaad Dridi joined the club on December 16, 2025, a challenge that unfortunately was not met.
