The inauguration took place in the presence of the French Ambassador to Tunisia, Anne Guéguen, Henri Hourcade, General Manager France, North Africa, West and Central Africa, Caribbean and Indian Ocean, and Nadia AZALE, Regional General Manager for North Africa, the Sahel, and the West Coast. All Air France employees in Tunisia, as well as numerous renowned partners, participated in the celebration of this event. Guests had the opportunity to discover a modern space, designed to reflect the values of innovation, proximity, and excellence upheld by Air France.
Winter 2025-2026 Flight Schedule
On the occasion of this visit, Air France announced its flight program between Tunis and Paris for the winter season 2025-2026. The route will now be operated using an Airbus A220, continuing the renewal of its fleet, a key pillar of its decarbonization strategy. The A220, being lighter, consumes 20% less fuel, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 20% and noise footprint by 50%. The company will offer three direct flights per week between Paris and Tunis using this aircraft, providing customers with a more responsible and comfortable travel experience.
Free High-Speed Wi-Fi Onboard
Additionally, Air France is pursuing its innovation strategy with the deployment of free high-speed Wi-Fi onboard. As the first major European airline to offer this technology since autumn 2025, Air France is gradually equipping its entire fleet: 30% of aircraft will be connected by the end of 2025, with a goal of total coverage in 2026.
Statement from Nadia AZALE
"This visit to Tunisia is part of a long-standing and dynamic relationship of trust between Air France and its local partners. The arrival of the Airbus A220 and the rollout of free Wi-Fi reflect our ambition to offer our customers an increasingly modern and forward-looking travel experience," said Nadia AZALE, Regional General Manager for North Africa, the Sahel, and the West Coast at Air France.
