Regional Authorities Suspend Classes in Ain Draham Due to Heavy Snowfall
The regional authorities of the Jendouba governorate announced on Saturday, November 22, 2025, the suspension of classes in all educational institutions in the Ain Draham delegation, due to significant snowfall recorded since dawn.
According to the Regional Disaster Management Commission, snowfall has reached significant levels, causing disruptions to traffic and making several road axes difficult to navigate.
- The national road No. 17 connecting Ain Draham to Tabarka has been temporarily closed due to snow accumulation and the risk of black ice.
- The Civil Protection teams, supported by municipal services and the National Guard, are mobilized to clear roads, rescue stranded users, and ensure the continuity of emergency interventions.
The authorities are calling on residents to exercise caution, limit non-essential travel, and follow weather updates in the coming hours, as further snowfall is possible.
