Tunisia's ONAS Urges Citizens to Dispose of Eid Al-Adha Waste Properly
During the Eid Al-Adha period, Tunisia's National Office for Sanitation (ONAS) is reminding citizens to dispose of waste from sacrifices responsibly.
In a public awareness campaign, ONAS explained that the haphazard disposal of waste from sacrifices in the sewage system can cause blockages, malfunctioning of canals, and environmental pollution. This can also lead to costly breakdowns requiring technical maintenance and repair interventions.
To prevent these issues, ONAS recommends that citizens place waste from sacrifices in sealed bags and dispose of them in designated trash containers. This will help preserve the environment's cleanliness and ensure the proper functioning of the sanitation network.
