Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Fisheries to Recruit 234 Engineers
The Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Fisheries plans to open an external competition based on exams to recruit 234 principal engineers in the common body of public administration engineers for the year 2025. This decision, published in the latest issue of the Official Journal of the Tunisian Republic (JORT), aims to fill vacant positions in several vital specialties for the sector. A decision from the Minister of Agriculture, dated November 13, 2025, specified the number of positions and specialties concerned by this external competition. These specialties include:
- 64 positions for plant production
- 24 positions for animal production
- 2 positions for chemistry
- 20 positions for fishing and aquaculture The positions are also distributed among:
- 18 positions for water resources
- 2 positions for well drilling techniques
- 15 positions for forests
- 1 unique position for surveying and mapping
- 9 positions for natural resource management
- 32 positions for rural engineering Additionally, the positions are allocated as follows:
- 8 positions for pedology (soil science)
- 12 positions for water and soil conservation
- 15 positions for forests
- 1 position for surveying and mapping
- 9 positions for natural resource management
- 8 positions for pedology Within the framework of this competition, 12 positions will be allocated to electromechanics, 2 positions to computer science, 8 positions to civil engineering, 4 positions to agricultural development, and 2 positions to agricultural statistics. Remote registration for the competition will begin on the ministry's website, www.agri-concours.tn, starting from November 20, 2025, and will close on December 15, 2025. The decision also indicates that January 15, 2026, and January 16, 2026, will be dedicated to the written and oral exams of the competition.
