Meeting on the Sidelines of the Tunisia Forum for Sino-African Medical Development
On the sidelines of the Tunisia Forum for Sino-African Medical Development, the Minister of Health, Dr. Mustapha Ferjani, received Dr. Epumba Epondo Jean Bertin, Acting Secretary General of the Ministry of Public Health, Hygiene, and Prevention of the Democratic Republic of Congo, on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Convention Center. This meeting was an opportunity to discuss priority areas for strengthening bilateral health cooperation, particularly in the fields of:

- Scientific research
- Emergency medicine
- Digital health and telemedicine
- Traditional medicine and modern medical technologies The Congolese representative expressed his admiration for Tunisia's experience in the health sector, while confirming the DRC's willingness to implement concrete projects aimed at strengthening health on the African continent. For his part, Minister Ferjani emphasized the importance of building African health integration based on innovation, health sovereignty, and strong South-South partnerships. This meeting is part of a shared commitment to develop sustainable and innovative collaborations to improve the health of African populations.
