Tunisian-British Cultural Week to be Held in 2026

The Chargé d'Affaires of the Tunisian Embassy in London, Hattab Heddaoui, announced on Monday, November 10, 2025, that a Tunisian-British cultural week will be organized at the beginning of next year (2026). During his intervention on National Radio, Heddaoui explained that this event is an ambitious project aimed at offering a complete image of Tunisia through cinema, visual arts, music, fashion shows, heritage, and contemporary creation. He emphasized that the Tunisian Embassy in London supports cultural action with all its energy and resources by organizing cultural events, art exhibitions, musical performances, festivals, and academic conferences, and by building bridges of cooperation with British institutions. Heddaoui affirmed that Tunisia has become a country of art, thought, and beauty.

Economic Diplomacy at the Heart of Tunisia's Foreign Policy

Furthermore, the Chargé d'Affaires highlighted that economic diplomacy is no longer an option, but is now at the heart of the strategic orientation of Tunisia's foreign policy. He stated that they are working to make economic diplomacy a true driver of national growth and a practical means of creating bridges of cooperation and partnership between investors and international markets and Tunisia's promising opportunities. Mr. Heddaoui recalled that the Tunisian Embassy in London has launched a platform called "Ezzitouna" (The Olive Tree) as part of an initiative to strengthen economic diplomacy. He specified that this platform works to attract investment, network relationships between British investors and business opportunities in Tunisia, and strengthen Tunisia's image as a safe, open destination for initiative and investment.
