Tunisia's Olive Oil Exports Get a Boost with New Jordanian Market

The Tunisian Center for Export Promotion (CEPEX) has announced the opening of a new market for Tunisian olive oil in Jordan, offering a fresh opportunity for the 2025/2026 export campaign. According to a statement released on Tuesday, Jordanian authorities have authorized the importation of extra virgin Tunisian olive oil, with a projected quota of 10,000 tonnes, packaged in containers of 1 to 4 liters maximum.

Key Details of the Agreement

  • The quota for each Jordanian importer will be defined after studying and validating their import request.
  • Operations will be carried out progressively, based on quotas assigned to public and private operators, and in accordance with the technical and administrative requirements established by Jordanian authorities.

A New Commercial Perspective for Tunisian Olive Oil Producers

This market opening represents a new commercial prospect for Tunisian olive oil producers and exporters, recognized worldwide for their quality and authenticity. It is part of CEPEX's ongoing efforts to diversify international outlets and strengthen Tunisia's presence in strategic Mediterranean markets and beyond.
