Tunis Court Sentences Foreign National to 20 Years in Prison for Drug Trafficking
The Tunis Court of First Instance sentenced a foreign national to 20 years in prison on Monday for drug trafficking. The woman was arrested at the La Goulette port while attempting to smuggle a shipment of narcotics hidden in her luggage, originating from a European country, according to a judicial source speaking to Diwan FM. The same court also imposed a fine of 20,000 dinars on the defendant, as reported by the same source.
