The Astonishing Surge in Sacrificial Lamb Prices: A Blessing or a Curse?
As the Tunisians finalize their preparations for the special day of Aïd El-Idha, a question is on everyone's mind: can the astonishing surge in sacrificial lamb prices be considered a curse, as some have claimed and repeated ad nauseam in recent hours?
We don't need to wait for an answer, because we know that the patriots, nourished by the pure militancy and pedagogy of excellence instilled by President Kaïs Saïed, will tell the speculators and bloodsuckers of the people a resounding "no" and give them a masterful slap in the face, commensurate with their membership in the sublime Islamic religion, which fights against all deviations and wages a merciless war against corruptors and their declared or clandestine accomplices.
When we return to the directives of the President and his constant mobilization to ensure that all citizens, particularly those with vulnerable conditions, can celebrate Aïd El Kébir with total dignity, we measure the extent of the new approach to human and humanitarian development promoted and implemented since the advent of the salvific process of July 25.
However, there remains a historical responsibility that the people must assume conscientiously and sovereignly. It is to turn their backs on all charlatans who preach a degrading discourse, but are generously remunerated by the forces of extremism and treason against the authentic precepts of Islam, which are dialogue and solidarity in their planetary dimensions.
In conjunction with the courageous increases in salaries and pensions, and in line with President Kaïs Saïed's unwavering commitment to remain faithful to his engagement and renew the pact of trust with the people, Aïd el-Idha will be a historic moment of unparalleled intensity and value, which Tunisians will live with the conviction that they will win the bet to integrate their country into modernity.
