The President of the Republic has once again spoken out to question the commitment and involvement of the government team and to point out the dysfunction and poor management within certain public services. This is a situation that the Head of State described as "intolerable" during his meeting with the Head of Government on November 14.

The complexity of the current situation requires "complete consistency and concrete complementarity between the different stakeholders." Similarly, the functioning of public structures needs "total neutrality to be able to meet the legitimate expectations of the people."
Lack of Awareness Among Certain Officials
Unfortunately, some officials, at both the local, regional, and central levels, still fail to measure the magnitude of national issues, as supported by the President of the Republic. Even worse, under the pretext of applying guidelines and instructions, they become a source of tension themselves.
Unacceptable Attitude and Consequences
This attitude is unacceptable and has serious consequences, as it risks undermining the proper functioning of the various socio-economic recovery programs in place and compromising our strategic objectives.
The Risks of Disengagement and Complacency
It is true that disengagement, dereliction of duty, or any sense of self-satisfaction can lead to waste of both human and material resources and constitute a serious obstacle to economic growth and social stability.
Recent Statistics
The latest statistics from the National Institute of Statistics (INS), published on Saturday, reveal that the growth of the national economy, although it has recorded a volume increase of 2.4% compared to the same period last year, shows a zero variation (0.0%) compared to the second quarter of 2025. This testifies to a certain stagnation in economic activity. And this could be justified by the relaxation of certain actors and the slowdown in the execution of some programs.
Examples of Stagnation
This is the case, among others, of the file of confiscated or ceded assets, which, despite the instructions of the Head of State and all the human, material, and legal measures taken, is still at a standstill. However, its resolution could provide a breath of fresh air for the state's finances, which are in urgent need of new injections.
The Need for Positive and Radical Responses
Such factors require positive and radical responses. And this is entirely possible if we approach it with more seriousness and patriotism.
The Role of Youth
The Head of State recalls, in this regard, the "crucial role of youth, called upon to take up the torch and engage in the national liberation struggle." And this assumes, of course, "a deep sense of responsibility."
