The Major Problem at CAB is Undoubtedly the Attack
The Press — For several seasons now, CAB has been struggling to put the ball in the back of the net. While last season, Khalil Balbouz somewhat compensated for the departure of Ben Zitoun by being decisive in certain matches, it is clear that this season, the situation is not much better. In the current season, the Cabistes have only scored 10 goals in 14 matches. This meager harvest has left the "Yellow and Black" supporters simply worried. And there is reason to be. In fact, 6 of the 10 goals were scored against teams at the bottom of the table, which are not known for having solid defenses, namely the ASG (3), the current last-place team, and the OB (3), which is ranked second-to-last. In other words, in the 12 other games, only 4 goals were scored against the CSS (1-1), the USBG (0-1), the JSK (1-0), and the ESS (1-1). This speaks for itself! However, it's not like the team didn't make any recruits. The former president made some purchases, but it turned out that the choices weren't targeted as they should have been, at least until further notice! Despite prioritizing the offensive compartment, the Bizertin public was left unsatisfied. Where are Chaâbane and Allouche? When will the strikers wake up? There are so many of them that they haven't had enough playing time to give their best. Hopefully, the upcoming long break will help everyone regain their momentum. Finally, we can't ignore the absence of young players like Aziz Chaâbane, Omar Allouche, or "Rascass", talents from the CAB school who are said to have a promising future. It's a shame that these young and vibrant players are not in the squad or not being utilized effectively! With Chiheb Ellili at the helm, hope is reborn for them. They can't be ignored all the time... The awakening of the attack could coincide with the integration of these young players into the team!
