External Competition for Secondary, Technical, and Vocational Teacher Recruitment for the 2026 Academic Year Held Successfully
Overview
On Sunday, the external competition for the recruitment of secondary, technical, and vocational teachers for the 2026 academic year took place. A total of 66,125 candidates from various specialties participated in the competition, spread across 67 examination centers in 26 regional education commissions.
Minister of Education Follows Competition Organization
Minister of Education Noureddine Nouri closely monitored the organization of the competition and visited several examination centers in the Ben Arous regional education commission. According to a statement released by the Ministry of Education, central and regional officials were deployed to ensure the smooth conduct of the competition and adherence to established procedures, guaranteeing equal opportunities for all candidates.
Competition Details
This competition allows successful candidates to join their posts immediately after the next school year, as it is a direct recruitment competition without a joint training phase between the Ministries of Education and Higher Education. This will contribute to strengthening pedagogical stability and meeting the needs of schools within the required deadlines.
Organization and Security Protocols
The same organizational and logistical protocols used in national exams were applied. The different stages of the process were secured in coordination with the Ministry of the Interior, from transporting exam materials to centers to collecting and securing candidate copies, while benefiting from necessary logistical support in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport.
Measures to Prevent Fraud and Ensure Equality
To prevent all forms of fraud and ensure equal opportunities, the pedagogical inspection body supervised the development of exams in two different versions within the same room. Additionally, modern mechanisms were adopted to preserve anonymity during correction, replacing candidate names with an electronic coding system using QR code labels.
Conclusion
The successful organization of this competition marks an important step towards strengthening pedagogical stability and meeting the needs of schools in a timely manner.
