Online Information Session for Tunisians Residing Abroad (TRE) on December 10, 2025
An online information session will be held on December 10, 2025, targeting Tunisians residing abroad (TRE) and focusing on financing mechanisms for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Initiated by the International Organization for Migration in Tunisia (OIM-Tunisie), in collaboration with the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS-Tunisie) and the Office of Tunisians Abroad (OTE), this event is part of the second phase of the Mobi-TRE "Hajti Bik" project. It aims to present the "Italian credit line" with an envelope of 55 million euros, to facilitate access to financing for TRE wishing to invest in Tunisia, and to explain the administrative procedures to benefit from it. According to the Facebook page dedicated to the Mobi-TRE "Hajti Bik" project, participants will be able to discover the advantageous conditions offered, such as reduced interest rates, and exchange with experts on the concrete opportunities offered to the Tunisian diaspora. This session aims to be a space for dialogue and sharing of experiences between TRE residing in various countries, contributing to national economic development. The organizers call on Tunisians residing abroad to actively participate in this initiative, in order to strengthen their involvement in the Tunisian entrepreneurial ecosystem.
