French investments far exceed those of other European countries, with Germany accounting for 14% and Italy for 12%. In the industrial sector, 279 French projects total 564.9 million dinars and create 2,823 jobs, while 15 French service companies invest 74.9 million dinars, offering 44 jobs.

Bilateral trade is also noteworthy, with France being Tunisia's main trading partner and customer. Tunisian exports to France reached 10,839.08 million dinars, accounting for 23% of Tunisia's total exports. Tunisia is home to approximately 1,600 companies with French capital, mainly in the industry, generating 163,000 direct jobs.
