National Center for Organ Transplantation Promotion Achieves 30 Surgical Operations
The National Center for Organ Transplantation Promotion has successfully carried out 30 organ transplant surgical operations during the first 9 months of 2025, from early January to the end of September. During a press conference organized by the Center on Thursday, October 16, 2025, to mark the World and Arab Organ Donation Awareness Day, which takes place tomorrow, October 17, it was revealed that the institution had obtained the consent of 10 families for organ donation, enabling the operations to take place. The organ transplant operations performed are broken down as follows:
- 17 kidney transplants
- 6 heart transplants
- 7 liver transplants
