Hungarian Government Scholarships for Tunisian Students
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced that, as part of a memorandum of understanding with the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Hungarian government is offering 250 scholarships to Tunisian students for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Scholarship Details
According to a statement from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, these scholarships are allocated for pursuing higher education in public universities in Hungary in various fields. The beneficiaries of the scholarship will be exempt from tuition fees and will receive a monthly allowance ranging from:
- 110 euros for undergraduate and master's levels
- 355 euros for the first four semesters of the doctoral cycle
- 460 euros for the second phase of the doctoral cycle (4 semesters)
Benefits
Selected students will also benefit from:
- University accommodation or a contribution to accommodation costs
- Medical insurance
Scholarship Distribution
According to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the scholarships will be distributed as follows:
- 35 scholarships for undergraduate students
- 15 scholarships for OTM One-tier Master's candidates
- 130 scholarships for Master's candidates
- 70 scholarships for doctoral students
