Financial Support for Small Farmers in 2026
The 2026 finance bill includes a new measure aimed at supporting the financing of small farmers and improving their ability to cope with seasonal difficulties.
Article 28 Provisions
Article 28 of the bill states that the State will undertake the establishment of a financing line worth 10 million dinars for the benefit of small farmers, enabling them to obtain seasonal loans under simplified conditions during the 2025-2026 agricultural season.
Management and Implementation
The management of this financing line will be entrusted to the Tunisian Solidarity Bank (BTS) under an agreement concluded with the Ministry of Finance, which will specify the conditions and procedures for granting loans as well as the management modalities of the financing.
