State Budget Project for 2026: Creation of Approximately 51,878 New Positions
According to the state budget project for 2026, the number of new recruitment positions proposed is estimated to be around 51,878 posts. This includes the regularization of precarious situations for construction site workers, substitute teachers and professors, as well as other categories of personnel.
The project notably provides for:
- The regularization of 12,942 construction site workers as part of a new wave
- 1,350 positions for doctorate holders (2026 promotion)
- The settlement of the situation of primary and secondary school substitute teachers
- 1,066 positions for physical education teachers
- 2,601 positions for applied license holders (2024 promotion)
In terms of distribution by ministry, the largest share of recruitments will be attributed to the Ministry of Health with approximately 4,000 positions, followed by the Ministry of Defense (3,728 positions), the Ministry of the Interior (2,695 positions), the Ministry of Finance (1,754 positions), the Ministry of Justice (1,196 positions), and the Ministry of Agriculture (1,196 positions). Other ministries will receive a smaller number of positions.
This recruitment plan aims to strengthen public sector staff in priority areas, while offering professional stability to precarious workers and young graduates.
