Ministry of Youth and Sports Budget for 2026

During the plenary session dedicated to examining the budget of his ministry for the year 2026, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Sadok Mourali, specified that the credits allocated to support individual sports amount to 29 million dinars, compared to 6.63 million dinars for collective sports. He emphasized that "the results obtained prove that supporting individual sports is one of the ministry's priorities."

The minister added that 11 elite athletes are currently benefiting from "objective contracts with a total value exceeding 1.3 million dinars," with the implementation of new recruitment plans for athletes after the end of their sports career, in addition to doubling the number of disciplines for Paralympic sports, from 5 to 10 specialties.

Mourali affirmed that the ministry is finalizing the remaining implementation texts related to the anti-doping law, and that the admission results for sports institutes for the new year will be published no later than November 20th.
