National Center for Children's Computing Director Reveals 200 Children Awarded Digital Ambassador Certificate
The Director of the National Center for Children's Computing (CNIPE), Mohamed Znen, has announced that 200 children have obtained the digital ambassador certificate over the course of three years of implementing digital security workshops. These workshops are part of the support for technology, adaptation to developments, and awareness of young people about the importance of digital security.
In an interview given on Monday, October 27, 2025, on the "Youm Saïd" show on National Radio, Mohamed Znen specified that the holders of the digital security ambassador certificate are between 14 and 18 years old and are distributed throughout the territory of the Republic.
Mr. Znen added that a national competition on information security and digital security will be launched in 2026. The National Center for Children's Computing will ensure the participation of winners in international competitions outside of Tunisia.
On another note, the guest on "Youm Saïd" mentioned the victory of the National Center for Children's Computing, which won the Child-Friendly Institution Award for 2025, awarded by the General Secretariat of the Arab League, in recognition of its efforts to disseminate the culture of safe and responsible use of the digital space among Arab children.
Mohamed Znen also mentioned the publication of a collection of digital stories titled "Amen and Amena's Journey", created by children from the centers, who were responsible for the design and digital work.
Additionally, he indicated that the launch signal for the initiative will be given on Monday.
