Tunisian Emigration and Unemployment Rates Revealed
According to data from the National Institute of Statistics, more than 150,000 Tunisians have left the country over the past five years to settle abroad.
The census results confirm that the national unemployment rate reached 16.4% in the fourth quarter of 2024, with an unemployment rate of 16.8% among higher education graduates, and a rate as high as 29.9% among young people (15-34 years old).
