15 regional hospitals soon integrated into the remote medical imaging system

Integration of Regional Hospitals into Telemedicine Systems

It was decided, during the second periodic Conference of Regional Health Directors, held in the city of Tabarka from September 22 to 24, to integrate 15 regional hospitals into the telemedicine system (or medical tele-imaging) and 16 regional hospitals into the specialized teleconsultation system.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Health published today, Friday, September 26, 2025, the work of this second periodic Conference, organized in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) office in Tunisia, addressed several topics, including public procurement (with the supervision of experts from the Secretariat of Public Expenditure) and the national and global epidemiological situation.

On the sidelines of this conference, the epidemiological surveillance platform "EPISURVEILLE" was presented, as well as a presentation of the Digital Hospital project and the role of regional directorates in its success.
