Ministry of Environment Launches Free Training Program for Young Graduates
The Director General of Sustainable Development at the Ministry of Environment, Mosbah Abaza, announced on Monday, December 15, 2025, that the ministry, in partnership with the International Center for Environmental Technologies, has established a free training program in the field of alternative economy for 100 young graduates of higher education.
Program Details
Abaza added, during his participation in the "Sabahna Tounsi" program on National Radio, that this training program will initially cover 5 training centers in the governorates of Médenine, Jendouba, and Tunis, covering 5 specialties, including:
- Renewable energies
- Blue economy
- Sustainable forestry and agriculture
- Waste management
It is expected that other governorates will be included in future sessions, with December 21 being the deadline for applications.
Financing Opportunities
Abaza also announced that the Ministry of Environment has established a financing line worth 20 million dinars for project idea holders, institutions, and civil society organizations (associations) wishing to invest in the field of alternative economy. This financing will be provided through simplified loan conditions, which will be announced in the coming days.
Previous Experience
He indicated that in a previous experience, the ministry had accompanied more than 50 project idea holders, for whom financing was a major obstacle. This new initiative aims to support young graduates and entrepreneurs in developing innovative projects in the field of alternative economy.
